Transloading — Florida
Transloading is the transfer of freight from one mode of transportation to another — ocean container to truck, air freight to truck, or rail to truck. At 3PL Prime, our Medley facility is positioned 15 miles from PortMiami and 9 miles from MIA cargo, making it one of the most efficient transload points in South Florida for import freight moving into the regional trucking network.
What we handle
Every transload move is different — cargo type, container size, destination count, and timing all vary. We handle the full range of transload operations that flow through South Florida's import corridors.
Containers released at PortMiami dray directly to our Medley facility. We unload, palletize, and transfer to outbound trucks the same day — reducing your container dwell time and port charges.
Air freight released from MIA cargo terminals transloads to our facility in under 30 minutes. Cargo is sorted, palletized, and dispatched to regional truck carriers — ideal for time-sensitive import product.
Freight from multiple inbound sources consolidated and re-sorted for multi-stop outbound delivery. We build loads by region, retailer, or customer — one inbound shipment redistributed to many destinations.
